Robin Dargavel is a degree-qualified Chartered Engineer with more than 35 years of experience across the oil and gas, power generation, utilities and chemical manufacturing industries. He established Dargavel Engineering Limited in 1995 and has since worked on a wide range of complex engineering projects in the UK and internationally.
Robin is an experienced Consulting Engineer, specialising in engineering design, project management, construction and commissioning management for process plant, pipeline and facilities projects.
His extensive technical and practical experience enables him to provide specialist engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and design through to project delivery, construction and commissioning.
Robin is regularly appointed as a Technical Expert, providing independent technical analysis and expert opinion to UK and international engineering and construction companies, corporate clients, state-owned organisations, law firms and arbitration tribunals.
He has more than 10 years’ experience supporting UK and international arbitration and litigation, including ICC and LCIA proceedings, High Court cases and criminal proceedings.
His Technical Expert work includes the preparation and submission of Technical Expert Reports and Joint Expert Reports, expert conferencing, cross-examination and the provision of expert evidence at arbitration tribunal and court hearings.
This combination of extensive engineering experience and specialist dispute work enables Robin to provide technically robust, independent opinions based on practical knowledge of engineering design, construction, commissioning and project delivery.
